Our Company
Psyche Peptides, Inc. specializes in the chemical synthesis of proteins containing 50-150 amino acids. The company focuses on the synthesis of immune system proteins including chemokines, cytokines and antibody binding domains. Our corporate objective is to use our synthetic technology to improve the medical properties of these proteins.
We are incorporated in Texas and have been in business since 2007.

Our Personnel
Dr. James A. Burton founded and was CEO of RSP Amino Acids, Inc., which specializes in the manufacture of families of amino acid analogues for the rational design of peptide and protein drugs. He is an expert in all forms of the chemical manufacture of peptides and proteins notably completing the first semi-synthesis of a peptide while he was a graduate student and of a biologically active antibody fragment while on staff at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
He has designed, synthesized and tested several peptide drugs including the first renin inhibitor that is active in vivo, the first specific tissue kallikrein inhibitor, an orally active vasopressin analogue, and the first inhibitors of the IgA proteases secreted by bacterial pathogens.
